The Circular Chair is designed for flexibility, durability, and a new way of thinking about furniture. Each chair will be manufactured in our solar-powered MicroFactory on Governors Island using 100% recycled plastic, turning waste into a beautifully functional piece built for everyday use.

Its versatile form allows it to be used in three orientations: as a relaxed lounge chair, an upright task chair, or flipped on a side to become a sturdy stool or table. One simple shape, multiple uses.

Like our earlier products, we will be heating our Circular Chair mold electrically using stored solar energy, but with this larger mold we are excited to partner with Persico Group and their Smart Mold technology. Persico is a pioneering rotational mold manufacturer who shared in our vision of Circular Manufacturing with energy efficient production. The Circular Chair mold will have embedded heating elements allowing us to produce these full size chairs using only power from the sun.
