The Circular Chair is designed for flexibility, durability, and a new way of thinking about furniture. Each chair will be manufactured in our solar-powered MicroFactory on Governors Island using 100% recycled plastic, turning waste into a beautifully functional piece built for everyday use.
Its versatile form allows it to be used in three orientations: as a relaxed lounge chair, an upright task chair, or flipped on a side to become a sturdy stool or table. One simple shape, multiple uses.
Like our earlier products, we will be heating our Circular Chair mold electrically using stored solar energy, but with this larger mold we are excited to partner with Persico Group and their Smart Mold technology. Persico is a pioneering rotational mold manufacturer who shared in our vision of Circular Manufacturing with energy efficient production. The Circular Chair mold will have embedded heating elements allowing us to produce these full size chairs using only power from the sun.

Pre-Order Policy: The Circular Chair
Thank you for supporting the Circular Chair. It's made from 100% recycled plastic and produced with 100% solar power at our MicroFactory on Governors Island, NYC. Please read this policy before placing your pre-order.
1. What you're pre-ordering
The Circular Chair is currently in its refinement phase. We're finalizing the production process to make sure every chair meets our quality standards. Your pre-order reserves a chair from our first production run.
2. Payment
You will be charged the full purchase price when you place your order. Pre-order prices are locked in at the time of purchase and will not increase.
3. Delivery timing
We do not yet have a confirmed delivery date. Chairs will be produced and delivered once refinement is complete. We'll email you progress updates and let you know your ship date as soon as it's confirmed. Orders are fulfilled in the order they were received.
4. Shipping
Prices do not include shipping. Shipping costs will be invoiced separately before your order ships. Local pickup on Governors Island or in NYC may be available. We'll contact you with options.
5. Cancellations and refunds
You can cancel your pre-order for a full refund at any time before your chair ships. To cancel, email info@CircularEconomyMfg.com with your order number. Refunds are issued to your original payment method within 10–14 business days. If we're unable to deliver your order, we will issue a full refund.
6. Product details may change
Because the chair is still in refinement, final details may differ slightly from the photos shown, such as the hole cover. The chair's function and overall design will not change. If we make a significant change, we'll notify you before shipping, and you can cancel for a full refund.
7. Every chair is unique
Each chair is molded from recycled plastic, so the speckled pattern and color vary from chair to chair. These variations are part of the material's story, not defects.
8. The Circular Guarantee
Circular Chairs are guaranteed for life, no matter who owns them. If your chair ever breaks, we'll replace it, whether you bought it new or it came to you secondhand. Just return the broken chair to our MicroFactory on Governors Island, and we'll give you a new one. Customers are responsible for the cost of shipping the broken chair to the MicroFactory and for shipping of the replacement. Your old chair will be shredded and remolded into new chairs, keeping the material in the loop.
The Circular Guarantee covers breakage from normal use. It does not cover damage from misuse, such as exposure to fire or extreme heat, standing on the chair, or using it for purposes other than seating or as a side table.
Prefer not to return it? The chair is made of HDPE (#2 plastic), which is accepted by many municipal recycling programs. Check with your local program for details.
